Pressure and Non-Pressure Vessels

An important part of the product line offered by PSS SVIDNÍK, a.s. are pressure and non-pressure vessels of all types for the food-processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Pressure tanks, including pressure and safety accessories, are manufactured and supplied in accordance with customer requirements and in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC of the European Parliament or according to the russian standards GOST-R.

Depending on customer requirements, these vessels can be made to EN 13445 or AD 2000 Merkblatt standards.

PSS SVIDNÍK, a.s., holds certificates for manufacturing pressure vessels in conformity with AD 2000-Merkblatt HP-0. The Company also holds certificates for welding processes according to EN ISO 3834-2.

Certification, or in other words, pressure vessel assessment, construction performance, first pressure test and final certificate issuance, may be completed using any of the following notification bodies:

1. TÜV SÜD, or
2. TÜV Rheinland, or
3. Technická Inšpekcia SR (Slovak Technical Inspection)

PSS SVIDNÍK, a.s., has staff certified and qualified for NDT (non-destructive testing) and capable of carrying out non-destructive weld testing following EN 473. Additionally the company has staff certified and qualified for various methods and types of welding work. Welders have appropriate certificates according to EN 1418 and EN 287-1. Welders also work under conditions where 100% RTG is required.

Vessels are made from structural steel. The most common materials include A-304 (1.4301), A-316 (1.4401), A-316L (1.4404), A-316Ti (1.4571). All materials have appropriate certificates and these are included in their technical documentation.
