Air-Conditioned Chambers
Air-conditioned smoking chambers provide automatically controlled drying and smoking of non-heat-treated, long shelf life meat products.
Air-conditioned maturation chambers provide automatically controlled maturation of non-heat-treated, long shelf life meat products.
Basic air-conditioned chamber equipment:
- Microprocessor control system
- Duct system
- Distribution system
- Air-conditioning unit
- Cooling unit
- Cleaning system
- Exhaust flue
- Smoke generator in case of air-conditioned smoking chambers
The microprocessor control system controls the technological process of product processing according to a pre-selected program. It controls and operates the A/C unit, the cooling unit and, in case of air-conditioned smoking chambers, the smoke generator. The display shows temperature and humidity inside the chamber, the ventilator rpm, the current time, the program number and the step number. Pre-set values and actual values can be shown not only on the display but also on a computer, printer or recorder. Data archiving is also possible. The microprocessor control system enables storing as many as 99 programs in its memory, and each program may contain up to 20 steps. In case of a power supply failure, after the restoration of supply, the interrupted programs are resumed from their previous point.
The duct system includes intake and exhaust ducts that are optimised so as to provide uniform airflow to every point inside the air-conditioned chamber.
The distribution system provides uniform processing conditions across the entire air-conditioned chamber.
The A/C unit includes a condenser, a heating system, a ventilator and a water separator. The supplied heating system may be of an electric or steam type. The required airflow in the chamber can be achieved by adjusting the ventilator’s speed using the microprocessor control system. The A/C unit provides the appropriate air conditioning that assures required parameters for the technological process.
The cooling unit enables the reduction of air humidity in the air-conditioned chamber.
The coolant can be Freon, ammonia or glycol.
The exhaust flue provides the air exchange in the air-conditioned chamber.
The cleaning system provides duct system cleaning.
Smoke generators are an integral part of air-conditioned smoking chambers.
Optional air-conditioned chamber accessories:
- Railing
- Door
- Smoking trolleys
- Smoking sticks
