Grist Milling
Grist milling can be done by means of a two-cylinder gristmill with an output of 250, 600 or 1100kg/hr (depending on the brew-house type), equipped with an input hopper with a safety screen and a magnet to trap metal impurities fitted directly to the malt grist container. It has an adjustment lever to adjust the distance between cylinders in order to obtain the required grain size composition of the malt grist (husk 20-30 %, coarse semolina 5-10 %, fine semolina 40-60 %, flour powder 12-23 %).
The malt grist container has a tilting lid in order to allow visual inspection of the processed materials. Its design assures dust-free operation of the entire machine.
